Chapter One readers in Year 1 and 2 got to virtually ‘meet and greet’ their reading volunteers on Monday.
The Children enjoyed meeting with their reading buddies and had a short chat about their favourite books.
We are really pleased as a school to be partnered with Chapter One who provide additional 1:1 reading support for our children in Year 1 and 2 by linking them to volunteers.
The Chapter One readers have a reading session each week with the volunteer adults and is really helps the children to engage with their reading.
