How We Assess Progress
Assessment forms a vital part of understanding how well each pupil is progressing in the key areas of Reading, Writing and Maths. In order that we are familiar with each pupil’s progress we carry out 3 formal assessments in Reading, Writing and Maths for each pupil on a yearly basis. This, together with ongoing Teacher Assessment, enables us to closely monitor progress and, where necessary, put in place intervention measures.

The statutory assessments which we are required to do are highlighted.
